GEODOG® – Funktionen
GEODOG® offers two basic features:
Actively Locate and Search your dog

You explicitly (actively) enquire the current position of your dog by calling GEODOG®. Your request will be answered by a SMS containing the coordinates of the position or a link to a map. The Position - Most important

As your dog most likely will continue roaming while you are looking for him, you can activate the search mode. Then you will get new position information every time your dog has moved from his last position by a certain distance (e.g. 100m). The message will include the cardinal direction. Passively oversee your dog

As soon as this „fence“ has been activated, GEODOG® will automatically supervise your dog and inform you by SMS when your dog leaves the zone. These text messages will include the direction and the distance to the HOME (e.g. 560m west). Zones – Virtual fences

You are able to define No-Go-Zones and Off-limits either by SMS or with the software and to assign a safety radius. When your pet gets close to these places, you will be informed by SMS and can take immediate action.

GEODOG® offers the possibility to define reference points which will ease orientation for you. You can determine prominent spots such as a park, a church or woodland as a reference, and each position message will automatically list the two closest reference points including the direction and the distance of your dog (e.g. 300m East of church and 805m Northeast of park). GEODOG® can record the tracks of your dog (up to 2000 waypoints). The GEODOG® software allows reading out and displaying the tracks on a map (road map or satellite view). This way, you can analyze the tracks of your dog. Tracking – Up-to-date analysis
